Read this before you read the list. This ranking is the government's, not ours.
NIRF only ranks institutions that took part. Thousands of recognised colleges never submitted data, and their absence from this list says nothing against them. If your college is not here, that is not a verdict.
Every ranked institution here links to its own official data. The "official data" link opens the file that institution itself filed with NIRF, hosted on the government's server. It carries the sanctioned seats for each programme across six years, the actual student strength, and the number of faculty. We do not copy any of it, so when NIRF publishes the next cycle the link shows the new figures without us touching anything.
Cannot find a well known name here? Then it did not submit data in this category, and that is all it means. The University of Delhi is the clearest example: it is ranked 5th among universities and 15th overall in NIRF 2025, and it does not appear in the Management table at all. Absence from one table is not a verdict on the institution, and anyone who tells you otherwise is reading the table wrong. Search the full UGC list to see every ranking an institution actually holds, or search all 14,996 colleges if yours is an affiliated college rather than a university. NIRF ranks only 100 colleges in the whole country, so most perfectly good colleges will never be in this table.
And a rank is not a fee, a placement or a teacher. It is a score built from teaching, research, graduation outcomes, outreach and perception. It cannot tell you what your family will actually pay, which is usually the question that matters most. That part we work out for you, one college at a time, free.

Which institution tops the NIRF 2025 Medical ranking?
In the NIRF 2025 Medical table, published by the Ministry of Education, the top three are: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi at rank 1 (score 91.80, New Delhi); Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at rank 2 (score 82.58, Chandigarh); Christian Medical College at rank 3 (score 76.48, Vellore). That order is the government's, not CollegeJaancho's. The full table of 50 institutions is on this page, and every row links to the filing that institution itself sent to NIRF.
How many institutions are in the NIRF 2025 Medical ranking?
The NIRF 2025 Medical table ranks 50 institutions, spread across 19 states and union territories. This page carries all 50 of them in the order NIRF published, with the score and the official filing beside each one.
My college is not on this list. Is it a bad college?
No. NIRF ranks only institutions that submitted data for a field, and thousands of recognised colleges never submit. Absence from a table is a missing submission, not a verdict. The clearest example is the University of Delhi, ranked 5th among universities and 15th overall in NIRF 2025, which does not appear in the Management table at all. To check whether a college is recognised in the first place, use the UGC list rather than a ranking.
How do I find the real number of MBBS seats a college has?
Open the official data link beside any institution on this page. It is the PDF that institution itself filed with NIRF, hosted on the government's own server. Under Sanctioned (Approved) Intake it carries the seat count for every programme across six years, along with actual student strength, faculty count and expenditure. If somebody promises you a seat, the promise has to fit inside those numbers.
Does a NIRF rank tell me what the college will cost?
No. A NIRF score is built from teaching, research, graduation outcomes, outreach and perception. It carries no fee information at all. What a family actually pays includes charges that sit outside tuition, and most scholarships never touch those. CollegeJaancho works the real total out for one college at a time, free.
