Where the numbers come from
Everything below is somebody else's record.
The recognition below is the UGC's and the rank is NIRF's.
The UGC record
Anurag University appears at entry 839 on the UGC's consolidated list of universities, the list as published on 25.01.2023 It has been recognised since 20.05.2020. It is recorded there as a private university in Hyderabad, Telangana.
NIRF 2025
NIRF publishes a separate ranking for each field. It prints individual ranks and scores only for the top of each table, and lists the institutions placed below them as a rank band such as 101-150, alphabetically and without scores, on a separate page. Anurag University is recorded with a numbered rank in Pharmacy and in rank bands for Engineering (101-150) and University (151-200).
This page prints only the placements CollegeJaancho has matched to the UGC record by name and state, as read from NIRF's pages on 7 October 2026. A table that is not shown here is not a statement that Anurag University is absent from it, and not being placed in a table is never a mark against an institution.
Its strongest position is Pharmacy, at rank 72 of the 101 institutions that table lists, where the highest score was 86.59 against this one's 45.19.
On the same UGC list, Telangana holds 43 universities, and at least 9 of them are placed in NIRF 2025, at a numbered rank or in a rank band. This is one of those.
NAAC accreditation
We do not have a confirmed NAAC record for this institution yet, so we are not printing one. We only publish a record when we are certain it belongs to the right institution.
NAAC's own list is linked below, and the institution's office is the right place to ask for its current accreditation status. Worth knowing when you ask: NAAC moved to Binary Accreditation in June 2024, which records whether an institution is Accredited rather than giving a letter grade, so many institutions are between systems right now. When we have a record we are sure of, it will appear here.

Each filing above is a PDF the institution itself sent to the government. Under Sanctioned (Approved) Intake it carries the real seat numbers for every programme across six years, with student strength, faculty count and expenditure beside them. If anybody promises you a seat, the promise has to fit inside those numbers.
Four things this page cannot settle
A record is a starting point, not a verdict.
Recognition and rank say nothing about what your family pays or what your degree is worth. Each of these has its own page, written once and kept current.
The state portal for Telangana, and the central schemes, are listed on our government scholarships page, and every other university in the state is on the Telangana page.
